Career Planning and Placement
MTI has an active Career Planning and Placement program designed to assist students in the early stages of career planning prior to graduation. Students are offered a broad range of career services including individualized one-on-one career planning, resume and cover letter development and job search assistance. Although the school provides placement assistance, the school cannot guarantee employment.

While students are in training, they meeting with a Career Planning and Placement Representative who will assist the students in rewriting and revising their resumes into a professional format. In addition to acquiring a well-written resume, the resume consultation is designed to assist students in gaining a better understanding of their career accomplishments. Students learn how their accomplishments and past experience can be assets to their next position. This enhanced awareness is useful in preparing for employment interviews.

MTI Career Planning and Placement Representatives also provide students with interview training. They impress upon the students the importance of the preparation that must be done prior to all interviews for future employment. Discussions include the importance of researching and gaining as much knowledge as possible about the prospective company and position being interviewed for. Prior to a scheduled interview, CPP Representatives address the questions students should prepare for in order to be well prepared and organized before arriving at their interviews.
